The Sabah King Scout Brotherhood will be organising the Sabah King Scout Reunion Dinner 2011 on 29th January 2011 at Palace Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Datuk Awang Zaini Hj. Suntim, the State Chief Scout Commissioner cum Deputy National Chief Scout Commissioner and Dr. Mohammed Mukhyuddin bin Sarwani, the Second Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Region (APR) Scout Committee cum Chairman of the King Scout Brotherhood of Malaysia and Committee Member of the Association of Top Achiever Scout (ATAS), also the Assistant National Chief Scout Commissioner (Special Tasks) have made their intention to attend the dinner. All King Scouts, young and experienced, friends and families are invited to come. Tickets will be selling at RM35 for members, RM60 for non-members and RM100 for VIP table. Sabah King Scout Brotherhood is expecting at least 60 people to turn up for the event. Among the highlights of the dinner is the presentation of certificates to members, light performances by members of the Brotherhood, lucky draws and good old scout games. See you at the dinner!

Welcome to member #032, brother Sylvian Shooi from Sembulan District and member #033, Encik Nik Helmi Azuar Bin Mat Ferait, a Scout Leader from Kinabatangan District who achieved his King Scout badge in 1992 from Kelantan!

PPRMCS doing their bit for the Tigers

Sabah King Scouts Brotherhood did their bit in saving the tigers by extending the' "Stripes R iCon" campaign to the Kem 1 Pengakap 1 Malaysia held at Kem Tiku, Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia from 31st July to 1st August 2010. The campaign which was launched by the KL Rovers as part of the Scouts for Nature (SFN) programme aims to increase awareness towards the protection and preservation of the Malayan Tigers, the symbol of Malaysia, which are facing extinction.

The Kem 1 Pengakap 1 Malaysia Camp was held in conjunction with the World Scouts Day celebration which falls on 1 August every year. More than 1,000 scouts from all around Sabah and neighbouring districts of Nunukan, Tarakan and Sebatik, Indonesia attended the Camp. The Camp was officially opened by the National Chief Scout Commissioner, Y.Bhg Datuk Hj. Kaharudin Bin Momin.

Pertemuan Pengakap-Pengakap Raja 28 Mac 2010/King Scout Gathering 28th March 2010

Persaudaraan Pengakap Raja Sabah akan mengadakan satu majlis pertemuan Pengakap-Pengakap Raja pada 28 Mac 2010 (Ahad) bertempat di Rumah B-P Pengakap Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah bermula jam 2.30 petang. Sekiranya anda seorang Pengakap Raja atau setaraf dengannya, silalah datang. Pakaian Seragam tidak diwajibkan tetapi anda dialu-alukan berkongsi pengalaman, mempamerkan pakaian seragam dan anugerah anda dan paling penting adalah mencari kawan baru dan membina tali persahabatan. Jumpa anda di sana!

The Sabah King Scout Brotherhood will be having a gathering of King Scouts on the 28th March 2010 (Sunday) at the Sabah Scout B-P House, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah begining at 2.30pm. If you are a King Scout or equivalent, please drop by. Uniform not necessarily but you are more then welcome to share your experiences, show your Scout uniform and awards and most importantly make new friends and create networkings. See you there!

Management Committee Meeting 12th March 2010

Dear members of the Management Committee,

Please be informed that the PPRMCS Management Committee will be having its meeting on 12th March 2010, 2.00 PM at the B.P. House, Kota Kinabalu. Thinking of having a gathering on 28th March 2010. Your attendance is highly appreciated. Thank you.

PPRMCS has the right to use its name

PPRMCS has the right to use our name according to the Sabah State Chief Commissioner, Datuk Awang Zaini Hj. Suntim who is also advisor to the Brotherhood. According to him, he has clarified this matter to the Chairman of the Malaysian King Scout Brotherhood (PPRM), Dr. Mukhyudin. The usage of the word "Cawangan" (branch) is clearly the same meaning as in the Scout Association of Malaysia Sabah Branch which gives Sabah its autonomy powers and Dr. Mukhyudin concurs with this decision. With this clarification I hope members of PPRMCS will not hesitate in wearing the badge and showing off to your friends and colleagues.

PPRMCS boleh menggunakan nama PERSAUDARAAN PENGAKAP RAJA MALAYSIA CAWANGAN SABAH menurut Ketua Pesuruhjaya Pengakap Negeri Sabah setelah beliau menjelaskan perkara tersebut kepada Pengerusi Persaudaraan Pengakap Raja Malaysia. Dr. Mukhyudin. Menurut Beliau, sudah jelas maksud Cawangan seperti mana yang digunakan oleh Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia Cawangan Sabah yang memberikan Sabah kuasa autonomi dan perkara ini turut diakui oleh Dr. Mukhyudin. Dengan penjelasan ini saya berharap ahli-ahli PPRMCS tidak lagi meragui penggunaan nama PPRMCS dan bolehlah menggunakan lencana yang diberikan dengan bangga.
